Name: Zac Kelly
Hometown: Mammoth Lakes, California
Zac Kelly stepped into his first set of skis when he was two years old. By nine, he was racing competitively with them.
Within a few years, his skis were earning him spots in events like the 2012 Whistler Cup — where he placed in the top 10 in two events.
Today, spending his days skiing the peaks surrounding Mammoth Lakes, California, Zac has his sights set on more world cup events and eventually the winter Olympics.
Staying hydrated, he says, is important to successful training for ski racing — which he says occupies up to eight hours of his day. When he trains, Zac uses the Polar Bottle Ergo and Polar Bottle Thermaluxe.
He chooses the insulated water bottles over other brands, he says, because they work under any condition. Because the Polar Bottle Ergo and Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Thermaluxe work for both warm and cold liquids, Zac can use the bottles to keep his drinks hot on the way to the slopes and refreshingly cool throughout a grueling day of runs.
