Addie joined the public relations department in 2012. When she’s not posting on Facebook for Polar Bottle, she enjoys hiking, running and yoga. If you invite Addie on a bike ride she will tag along but don’t expect a speedy ride. Picture biking with Ms. Daisy.
Admir joined the Polar Bottle® production crew in 2008 after moving to Boulder from his home country of Montenegro. He has never once showed the rest of us any mercy on the soccer field. Thanks Admir.
Adnan is our international sales manager, handling all our overseas distributors, as well as a few domestic accounts. He enjoys soccer, basketball, and taking his brothers’ money in poker games.
A Colorado native, Ado joined the Polar Bottle team in 2010. He took up cycling to help rehabilitate his knee after a surgery in 2013 and was hooked immediately. The reason he needed the knee surgery in the first place? Well, that’s a story he prefers to keep private. It’s a good one though!
In 2011, our company president, Judy, was on crutches at the airport struggling with her suitcase, and Alazim offered to help. After chatting, Judy learned that he had moved to Colorado from Senegal to study law and was looking for work to support his family. She hired him on the spot.
Bryce joined the Polar Bottle sales team in 2012. An avid cyclist, Bryce likes to extend his afternoon work breaks in the summer months to hit the amazing bike paths surrounding the Polar Bottle headquarters and frequently roams the office halls decked out in a full spandex bike kit.
Originally from California, Caitlin has worked in outdoor shops across the country ending up at Polar Bottle in 2013. An enthusiastic outdoorswoman, she counts biking, snowboarding and paddle board yoga as some of her many talents — along with baking a mean wedding cake.
Ciro has worked with us for five years now and even after all this time still manages to work the Seattle Seahawks into almost daily conversations. Some people just can’t accept that they live in Denver Broncos country.
A Boulder native, Dane spends his week traveling around the country to represent the Polar Bottle brand as our Events Coordinator. It’s not uncommon to see him uncontrollably speeding down the street on his custom built fixed gear, that he affectionately refers to as War Horse.
Since he started at Polar Bottle® in 2010, Dave has been our designated truck driver — often taking to the streets in the truck during the wee hours of the morning when the rest of us haven’t even rolled out of bed. He often rewards us all for making it to work with candy treats.
Eric Schorling joined the company in 2007. Originally from Virginia, he moved to Boulder for school and has stuck around to enjoy Colorado’s outdoor recreation — he loves skiing and running — and collecting degrees. Four universities, three degrees and counting.
Fesha, originally from Montenegro, has been working hard in production for six years. It was not until a work party in 2013, however, that he revealed his true talents. Let’s just say that he is probably our only employee who can successfully balance a glass of wine on his head while dancing.
Graham joined the Polar Bottle® shipping department in 2013 after moving west from Massachusetts to Colorado — where he could snowboard every weekend and, most importantly, where his beard would be fully appreciated.
Gwendolyn studied communication design at Kutztown in PA before heading to Colorado. At Polar Bottle, she does web and graphic design. She also holds the distinction of being the only lady daring enough to brave the field each week for our soccer matches.
Jessica joined our team in 2013 and immediately wowed us with her awesome work in the warehouse. Don’t let her quiet demeanor fool you. Jessica will kick your butt making bottles — just ask some of her male coworkers.
As you can see, John – or JDub – is straight thug. John can be found in the warehouse, taping boxes, filling displays, and diligently working to make sure our orders are shipped with all due haste. John would like our readers to know that he’s “an educator and will take you to school on the court at any time.”
Jon E. wears many hats around Polar Bottle. He works production, shipping, and has become the resident expert at crafting our Special Edition bags as well. He also wears a cool Ninja Turtles hat sometimes.
Judy co-founded Polar Bottle in 1994 and helped get the product off the ground by pitching it to bike shops. Today, she is the President and oversees the day-to-day business. At work, she frequently calls impromptu meetings, plays Words with Friends, and comically mishandles our intercom.
Mike is a multi-discipline cyclist and avid outdoorsman, with work experience ranging from snowcat guide to sales to ski patroller. He joined the Polar Bottle sales team in 2011.
Muharema and Asim
Muharema joined the Polar Bottle® family in 1996 after several members of her own family started working for the company. Her husband, Asim started four years later. They have worked production side by side every day since.
Nechko is like cold water: he’s always been a part of Polar Bottle. Nechko was Polar Bottle’s very first employee and has worked in just about every department in the company. Today, he does art production, IT, and is the resident Crown Royal aficionado.
Nick graduated from CU Boulder and joined the Polar Bottle engineering team in 2010. Originally from the Garden State, Nick’s enthusiasm for creating awesome things to drink out of is equaled only by his passion for cars and incredibly loud laughing.
Phil, affectionately known by his “unique” middle name, Kenower, is Polar Bottle’s sales manager. Full of gusto and charisma, Phil can frequently be found representing the brand at trade shows, events, and fancy meetings with clients.
Rachel started as a production employee in 2011. A mother of four and grandmother of one, Rachel has taken her skills organizing all the mess her family makes at home and transferred them to her work managing the Polar Bottle® inventory.
Ricardo has worked in our Colorado warehouse since 2013 but it’s obvious that his heart is really in Los Angeles, California.
Richard started working with the production team four years ago. The rest of us have taken every opportunity to photograph him ever since because, well, isn’t it obvious? When he is not at work dodging the cameras, he plays the drums at shows around Colorado.
Robert is the inventor of the Polar Bottle and co-founder of the company. He serves as the Vice President of the company and heads up our engineering and R&D departments. He enjoys biking, yoga, motorcycles, and contemplating others’ perspectives.
Sandy is the Human Resources and office manager for Polar Bottle. Outside of work, she is a force to be reckoned with on the tennis court; rumor has it that she once made Maria Sharapova cry.
Sharma came to Polar Bottle® in 2013 and after only a few weeks working in the warehouse one of his new, friendly co-workers backed into his car with the company van. He has retaliated by dominating in company ping-pong games.
Stephen is our Logistics and Shipping guy. He also loves music. Thanks to his second job as a doorman at local concert venues, he attends almost every show that comes through town. He is also happy to remind his coworkers of the dance moves he witnessed at the show at work the next day.
Polar Bottle is lucky enough to have Merritt, Sky, Corbin and Cambell for a few months out of the year when they are not busy at school. Arguably the rowdiest members of the summer production crew, the fall and winter season are always a little quieter without the boys around.
Taylor joined the production crew in 2012 and immediately became everyone's favorite employee. Don't be fooled by his sweet demeanor, however — under those headphones is some hardcore music.
